The Chalet

The tastefully decorated chalet is sitting approximately 800 m away from the village at 1,600 m above sea level and offers an incomparable view of the surrounding mountains and the Rhone valley.

From the terrace and the dining table and you can see up the valley to the summit of the 3,000 m high Mont Gele as well as his little brothers Arete de Chassoure with 2,787 m and the Pointe des Champs-Ferret with its 2,742 m. Here you can discuss in detail whether, when and how you want to ski down from the underlying Lac de Veaux directly to the chalet.

Or you can look down from the balcony to the 1,200 m lower Rhone valley and the opposite mountains. There the Tét Tsernou and Mont Tservet build the northern wall of the Rhone valley and its seperation from the Bernese Oberland. That view will be also the only time that you realize during your vacation that there is another world apart from the quite and relaxing world in La Tzoumaz.

The chalet with its spacious living room and fireplace offers seating for 8 people and the dining table can accomodate 10 people for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Gallery with TV and sofa bed offers even more space, so that also larger groups will find enough space in the chalet.

The kitchen offers ample space and equipment in order to provide sufficient and good food – even for a hungry crowd of 10 skiers. In addition to the normal standard utensils there are also a toaster, a grill, a cheese fondue, which of course you can use also for a delicious meat fondue and a raclett machine, where you can harness up to half a cheese wheel for a great raclette dinner.

In summer there is also a wood-fire grill for a relaxed barbecue dinner while the sun is setting down on the terrace.

If you think you have eaten too much, you can then go once or twice (or maybe even more often) into the sauna, with the beneficial side effect, that the muscles become loose and recover, at least in part, so that you are well in shape again for the next day and the challenges ahead. Whether it is skiing, biking, hiking, biking, sightseeing, or – not to be underestimated – laziness.

If you managed then the day and all the vacationing is done, you can settle for a well deserved sleep. The chalet has four bedrooms with double beds and a double bed on the gallery. There are three bathrooms with three toilets and two showers and one shower / tub.

And those who are now really on holiday and which do not plan to get stressed by any program can sleep into the next day until the sun is coming above the mountains and shine directly into the bedroom.
